Do you mean a project that currently on the edge of collapse due to France and Germany inching each year to exit the union not to mention Slovakia , Hungary , Czech Republic .

They can’t agree on anything major most of the time .

Please don't engage in politicial/ideological battle on HN. The guidelines make it clear we're trying for something better here. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

Think of it as an extension of a dj . Instead of downloading the music , you refer , bend , and create your own . The quality of entire electronic music will balloon due to this .

I don't understand how something can "balloon" something like electronic music when it's a generator of mediocrity, it doesn't expand and "come up" with things, it uses what it knows to extract, condense and generalize patterns, it gets bland, and nothing so far I've heard been innovative and new.

But, I'm generally open minded to new things, and I won't claim I hold some absolute truths here, so if anyone heard anything generated that feels like it really pushes some horizon and actually innovates, creates something new or similar, please link it so I could hear it too and I promise I'll hear it with an open mind! :)

Why? I use to work as a dj 15 years ago , this is just a dream !

AI music feels like I'm having a derealization/depersonalization episode.

Be proud of yourself some people can’t even detect , same with YouTube, my dad was watching a podcast 100% ai without any clue.

Any DJ playing this shit deserves to have all their equipment taken from them.

What a dream for creation , I already see my daughter in the future will create her own album just for specific event or party .

It’s almost like dj but now you’re not just picking tracks of a similar theme , you choose a theme , and the rest of the music bands . Wow .

Why would you choose api vs sdk . Sdk in a sandbox feels much better .

I get it why do I want to use your managed session , what do you win ? Any examples ?

I’m trying to understand the use case but it seems weird middle ground in a way .

Ease of setup and accepting the lock-in; in exchange for OpenAI handling security-patching the environment, scaling containers, etc. It's an option.

Because how does OpenAI earn more money then? At least to me it seems to try more vendor lock in, but I might mistaken on how easy it would be to just be another level of abstraction in an agent system.

To save yourself the hassle of running your own sandboxed VM.

Not sure I exactly trust OAI to do that right.

I assume you'd develop via the SDK, then deploy it via the API.

I’m doing renovation . I slap a prompt in a tile store over my room and design several types of tiles and paint from one prompt while causally browsing in almost real time .

Isn’t that the future ? I generated 200 images alone in this use case .

What’s the alternative to that ? Send it tomorrow someone who hate their job moving tiles in the toilet , may money , wait 1 week

So they are parasites on sovereign blah blah blah.

And yes , Chinese models will be cheaper compared to what they offer , as well as American models will be much smarter polished . This is the only market they have , lobby sovereignty among politicians.

What is the role of tools like libreoffice in the age of ai ? Is it only viewer ?

I was fighting alignment on the doc created manually, after 3 mins struggle I typed in Gemini tab of Google Docs , and it did everything perfectly.

Same with presentations , tools like bento.page generates you perfect html .

I really do not want to go and edit things manually anymore

They do catch important things but it’s really contextual. You can’t grab a model slap it on top and say code review . Hence a dedicated review tool is almost dead . Code review should be part of your pipeline and consume test results from the original task , open spec etc . If you do not have that code review will not help if you do , what is the point of task rabbit just slap <your harness in the sandbox> review against <goal>

Love the democratization of access. Still curious how this is better vs gpt 6 astra or grok 4.7 in the future trained on spacex problems ?
